I’ve worked at both large and small organizations. Completed work that has ranged from using a diverse set of skills in research, design, engineering, and business. Being a generalist at small startups brought a lot of responsibility and promoted learning, which was exciting and kept me engaged. I was also really good at research. My greatest strengths come from my numerous years in research. I enjoy research and do not shy away from asking lots of questions. I am very approachable, and my performance correlated with the welcoming of my experiences.
I value feedback and opinion. It allows me to get creative and be able to bring out the best in me. I seek a culture that is both welcoming and provides opportunity to learn. My experiences are built on curiosity and I will go the extra mile to be proficient in my work and also learn new skills. I am currently working at I.V. as a Technology Engineer. I.V. is a startup; my work ranges from completing ultrasound technology research; liaising with domain engineers, collaborating on the design of electronics and hardware aspects of the product development cycle, and writing technical documents for weekly standup presentations.
Before COVID-19 started a lot of my work was conducted in-person at the office. After COVID-19 most of my work started to shift towards a more hybrid schedule. I was always asked to meet in-person for town hall meetings and all other meetings were held via M.S. Teams.
I graduated from UC San Diego with a degree in Human Computer Interaction. I was fortunate to receive the Google UX Design Certification, which really narrowed down my decision to pursue a career as a UX Designer.
Before I started working on SAPE, my parking idea was selected into a competitive hackathon hosted by Intel, AT&T, GE, SD Smart City, & IEEE. Receiving outstanding remarks and support from all the judges, the idea transformed into a real product which had over 200 end users using it on a daily basis. This was one of my proudest moments because I contributed an idea to the community to solve a real problem we all deal with on a daily basis known as “parking”.
